MONTALBAN - A leaking roof at the Ynares Center here caused a delay in the main game of the PBA Governors Cup between San Miguel and Macau, Saturday night.

The match scheduled at 7:30 pm didn't start until 20 minutes later as both teams conferred with league officials if the newly-built court was playable enough.

The incident came less than 24 hours after a similar concern marred the Magnolia-Meralco match at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

A continuous drip on the NAS rooftop following a heavy rain suspended the Hotshots-Bolts contest just before the start of the fourth with Magnolia holding a slim 71-70 lead.

After a 40-minute break play was eventually resumed, with the Hotshots taking the 105-88 win.

With 1;06 remaining in the first quarter of the Beermen-Giant Pandas match, leak from the roof again rendered the court unplayable, leading to another delay to the game.

San Miguel was holding to a 35-20 lead at that time as import George King got off to a fast start by accounting for 19 points of the team's total output.
