PHOENIX claimed its first win of the conference, defeating Terrafirma, 94-78, on Wednesday in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup at the Philsports Arena.
RR Garcia stepped up for the Fuel Masters with a double-double, pouring in 20 points and 10 assists as they finally captured a victory after starting the conference with two straight defeats.

The Fuel Masters handed the Dyip their second straight defeat to go down to an even 2-2 record after playing without rookie Stephen Holt.
Garcia scored four points and dished out an assist to Matthew Daves for a dunk during a 10-2 run by the Fuel Masters that put them ahead for good, 76-68.

Phoenix led by as many as 17 points, 92-75, following another 12-0 run in the fourth quarter.
Jason Perkins had 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, while Kenneth Tuffin had 17 points and nine rebounds for Phoenix, which bounced back from defeats to NorthPort and Barangay Ginebra.
Javi Gomez de Liano had 19 points and five rebounds, while Juami Tiongson had 16 points for the Dyip.
