LOS ANGELES - Everything remains status quo as far as the format of the coming PBA 43rd season is concerned.
The league will continue to implement a 6-foot-10 height limit for imports in the Commissioner's Cup and 6-foot-5 in the season-ending Governors Cup.
The same rules meant the possible return of such reinforcements like Justin Brownlee (Ginebra), Charles Rhodes (San Miguel), Henry Walker (Blackwater), Allen Durham (Meralco) and Ricardo Ratliffe (Star).
The league board already approved in principle the rules during its last regular meeting prior to its departure to the US for its annual planning session.
Brownlee led the Kings to a back-to-back championship in the season-ending meet by beating the Meralco Bolts in seven gruelling games.
Meanwhile, Rhodes proved to be a tower of power for San Miguel, which he steered to the Commissioner's Cup title after defeating TnT Katropa in six games in the finals.
Likewise the same previous format in all three conferences will be applied in the coming season set to tentatively kick off on Dec. 17.
