JOHNATHAN Williams of Phoenix Super LPG and Tyler Bey of Magnolia are poised to battle for the Best Import honors in the PBA Season 48th Commissioner’s Cup.
Williams currently sits at fourth in the statistical race at the end of the eliminations after accumulating 53.6 statistical points with averages of 27.0 points, 15.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks in helping Phoenix win eight games before entering the playoffs.

Bey is at sixth with 51.9 SPs, after averaging 27.6 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks per outing, leading Magnolia to the top spot at the end of the eliminations with a 9-2 win-loss slate.
Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson of TNT (67.5), Bennie Boatwright of San Miguel (67.3), and Shonn Miller of Meralco (55.0) are actually in the top three of the statistical points but didn’t play 70 percent of their team’s games, the required number to be eligible to win the award.
DeAndre Williams-Baldwin of NLEX is at fifth, ahead of Bey, but also didn’t meet the 70-percent requirement.
Tree Treadwell of Rain or Shine is at seventh with 50.4 SPs, but could be eligible for an award in the Elasto Painters continue to play more games this conference.
Venky Jois of NorthPort (49.4), Tony Bishop of Barangay Ginebra (46.5), Jamil Wilson of Converge (45.8), Chris Ortiz of Blackwater (40.8), and Thomas De Thaey of Terrafirma (32.5) round out the list.
