ANTIPOLO – The PBA will no longer take further action against Arwind Santos, Kelly Nabong, and Ronald Tubid, who were all suspended indefinitely by San Miguel in the aftermath of a fight during practice on Sunday.
“Okay na ako sa pinataw ng San Miguel,” said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Wednesday.
San Miguel management slapped indefinite suspensions on Santos, Nabong, and Tubid for their roles in a melee that also involved import Dez Wells last Sunday at the Upper Deck gym in Pasig City.
The PBA had waited for sanctions to be made by San Miguel before deciding on further steps against those involved in the melee.
Aside from the sanctions, Wells has already left the country, leaving John Holland to hold the fort at the San Miguel camp in a crucial game against TnT.
