FOUR legends will be suiting up in the PBA All-Star Game set March 31 in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
Four-time Most Valuable Player Alvin Patrimonio and Purefoods teammate Jerry Codiñera will be playing for the South All-Stars, while Shell’s dynamic duo of Benjie Paras and Ronnie Magsanoc will be teaming up for the North All-Stars.
The inclusion of four legends is part of the 30th anniversary of the All-Star game in which the four were part of the Rookies/Sophomores/Juniors squad that pitted against the Veterans.
Patrimonio and Codinera will be part of the South squad along with June Mar Fajardo, James Yap, Scottie Thompson, Greg Slaughter, Mark Barroca, Chris Ross, Baser Amer, Terrence Romeo, Poy Erram, PJ Simon, Joe Devance, Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, and Mac Belo.
Paras, a two-time MVP, and Magsanoc will play for the North team along with Calvin Abueva, Japeth Aguilar, LA Tenorio, Paul Lee, Marcio Lassiter, Stanley Pringle, Alex Cabagnot, Arwind Santos, Gabe Norwood, Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, Chris Banchero, Mark Caguioa, Jason Perkins, and Marc Pingris.
