CALASIAO, Pangasinan—CJ Perez capped off his impressive PBA All-Star Weekend by spearheading Team Codiñera to a 22-19 win over Team Patrimonio in the Cignal PBA All-Star 3x3 at the Calasiao Sports Complex.
Perez connected on four consecutive two-pointers before Isaac Go finished off the match with a deuce to finish the side event.
Team Codiñera (Cignal PBA All-Star White) was trailing, 19-12, before Perez took over for the squad that also includes Matt Nieto and PBA legend Jerry Codiñera.
Perez, the Columbian freshman wingman, won the Most Valuable Player honors in the Rookies/Sophomores’ 141-140 win over Juniors last Friday with Perez scoring 32 points in the win.
Team Patrimonio (Cignal PBA All-Star Blue) was led by four-time PBA MVP Alvin Patrimonio, Robert Bolick, Javee Mocon, and Mike Nieto.
