PAUL Zamar is coming back home to Blackwater.
The 5-foot-10 veteran guard rejoins the franchise that gave him his first PBA break after his contract with San Miguel expired at the end of 2022.

The Bossing however, couldn't sign Zamar yet as only after a 30-day grace period upon his contract expired can Blackwater offered him a contract.
During that span, San Miguel still holds its rights on Zamar, and can offer him a new round of contract if it wants to retain his service.
After the one month grace period expires and no deal was given by the Beermen, Zamar can already sign and play for the team where he played his best year in the PBA.
Blackwater tapped the son of coach Boycie Zamar as a free agent in 2018 straight from his stint with the Mono Vampire team in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
In 19 games with the team, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1,5 assists, while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc.
But after the season, Zamar was traded by the Bossing to the Beermen for a pair of second round picks (2021 and 2022, respectively).
Zamar won three championships with San Miguel, but hardly get playing minutes behind a formidable San Miguel backcourt currently manned by Chris Ross, Simon Enciso, Terrence Romeo, and previously, Alex Cabagnot.
