MAGNOLIA will continue to miss Paul Lee's services as they play San Miguel for the PBA Philippine Cup lead on Sunday.
The combo guard is still recuperating from a high-grade sprained ankle but the most could rejoin the Hotshots in their game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in Calasiao, Pangasinan next week in the Petron Saturday special.
“Sa Feb. 10 na,” he said shortly after Magnolia’s scrambling 78-72 win over Blackwater at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday.
“Pero ok na ako. Pagaling na yung sprain.”
The 6:45 p.m. game against the Beermen at the Ynares Center in Antipolo will be the second one Lee will miss after suffering the injury during the Hotshots’ game against the TnT Katropa last week.
He sprained his left ankle after an awkward fall when he collided with Troy Rosario while going strong to the hoop.
Despite his absence, Magnolia managed to remain on top of the standings with a 6-1 record, a full game ahead with the defending champion and second-running Beermen at 5-1.
