PAUL Lee not only put on a show before PBA fans in Magnolia’s 117-92 win over Meralco in their Philippine Cup matchup, but likewise for his former high school classmates at San Sebastian.
The Magnolia guard found his rhythm and shot the lights out of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium as he put on a shooting clinic to the delight of his teenage friends who were among those that watched the game live.

Lee finished with a game-high 27 points including 18 straight in the fourth quarter that took the fight out of Meralco.
The 36-year-old Tondo born went 4-of-5 from four-point range and was 5-of-7 from the four-point and three-point line combine in a splendid display of shooting.
And he did it in front of his long-time friends and their family in what turned out to be a reunion of sorts for the group.
“Mga high school classmates ko yan. May isa kaming kasama galing abroad kaya eksakto nakapanood yung grupo ng laro namin,” said Lee of the motley crew who cheered him and the Hotshots for the entire game.

One of those in the group was his former teammate with the Stags in Jerome Urbano.
“Puro mga classmates ko nung high school ang mga yan. Pero si Jerome lang yung naging teammate ko sa San Sebastian,” he said.
Shortly after the fight-marred match, the group had its photo taken with Lee, who was adjudged Best Player of the Game.
Lee’s scoring explosion helped Magnolia notched a sixth straight win to remain on top of the standings as the only undefeated team in the season-ending tournament.
