PAUL Lee is in his third PBA Finals appearance for Rain or Shine, but this one against San Mig Coffee for the 2014 Philippine Cup championship definitely excites him the most.
The former Rookie of the Year acknowledges that he has an unfinished business in the championship series after going down with an injury the first time he made it to the Big Dance in 2012.
Lee suffered a shoulder injury in Game Two of the best-of-seven Governors Cup series two years ago against San Mig, and had to watch from the bench as the Elasto Painters won their first-ever league championship after beating the Mixers in the deciding Game Seven.
And now that he’s back in the Finals with no less than the Mixers as the Elasto Painters’ opponent again, Lee vows to cherish every single moment of the title series.
And hopefully, this one ends on another positive note for the Elasto Painters and more so, for himself.
