PAUL Lee rued some questionable fouls called against him in Rain or Shine’ 105-92 loss to San Miguel Beer in Game Four of their PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series on Monday night.
The Elasto Painters star picked up four fouls in the third quarter alone, the last leading to his disqualification with only 2.7 seconds left in the period.
Three of those fouls came within the last three minutes of the quarter.
Two of those fouls appeared questionable, one a blocking foul when he appeared to barely graze Chris Ross’ jersey and the other the same infraction against Gabby Espinas right before the end of the quarter.
“Hindi ko na alam kung ano yung foul tsaka yung hindi foul,” Lee said. “Pero natawag na, so adjust na lang ako next game.”

Lee, who finished with 10 points, three boards, two assists, and one steal in 24 minutes, also pointed to their lack of frontline players, particularly the absence of Raymon Almazan, as a factor to their loss.
“Yung big man namin, kulang din talaga,” the former Rookie of the Year said as SMB outrebounded ROS, 59-37. “Sana makayanan talaga nung team yung loss ni Raymond and Jericho (Cruz).”
At least Jericho Cruz is fit to play after hurting his left knee in the end of Game Three.
“Kailangan ready lang siya,” Lee said of the sophomore Cruz. “Basta mag-tulong-tulong kami, kaya namin yan. Kailangan lang magpakatatag kami lahat.”
