MAGNOLIA got an injury scare after top guard Paul Lee sustained an ankle injury in their contest against San Miguel.
Lee hurt his ankle after stepping on the foot of San Miguel import Ivan Aska during the first half of Magnolia’s 94-90 win over San Miguel on Sunday in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Philsports Arena.

But Magnolia coach Chito Victolero immediately ruled out a serious injury on Lee, even saying that he will be ready to go for their next game on Saturday when they face Rain or Shine in Cagayan De Oro.
“It’s a minor injury. Nagkaroon siya ng sprained ankle,” said Victolero.
“Actually, ayaw lang namin lumalala ‘yung injury niya. He got injured nung second quarter, and then naglaro pa siya nung third quarter.
“I think Paul can handle that. Matagal pa naman kami (next game),” said Victolero.
Lee also said the injury isn’t major enough for him to miss games.
Nag-up and down pa ako, may gagawin akong move, naturnover ko ‘yung bola.

Ang pinaka-crucial is paano ko ihahandle,” said Lee with a smile.
