PAOLO Taha made a surprise appearance during the first practice of Magnolia under new head coach LA Tenorio, sparking speculation that the one-time Northport player may be seeking a spot in the Hotshots' lineup.
Taha was Tenorio's former teammate at Barangay Ginebra but the two went separate ways when Taha joined NorthPort where he played for seven years.

SPIN.ph learned he has since been let go by the Batang Pier but it's not clear yet whether he’s been signed by the Hotshots for the coming PBA Season 50.
The 34-year-old product of Saint Benilde College once shared the backcourt with Tenorio at Ginebra where he won his lone PBA championship during the 2017 Governors’ Cup.
He played two seasons with the Kings before being traded back to Northport in exchange for rookie Julian Sargent.

The 6-foot guard was a third-round pick in the 2014 draft by the KIA franchise, but was never signed by the KIA team, eventually earning a roster spot at GlobalPort [now NorthPort].
But two seasons after, Taha found himself on the move again and landed with the team that drafted him as Mahindra acquired his services along with Jonathan Uyloan in a trade for the duo of Karl Dehesa and Mike DiGregorio.
He lasted for only a season with Mahindra as he ended up playing for Ginebra starting in 2017 for Denice Villamor and Frank Bonifacio.
