ROOSEVELT Adams missed Terrafirma’s game against San Miguel during the restart of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday due to diarrhea, the ballclub said.
Terrafirma assistant team manager Iby Bautista said Adams’ case was mild, which means the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 rookie draft is on pace for a return on Friday in the Dyip’s game against Barangay Ginebra.
Terrafirma beat San Miguel, 110-104, for its first win after five outings despite only 11 out of its 15 players suiting up against a full-strength Beermen side that welcomed Terrence Romeo back from an injury.
Joshua Munzon, the Dyip's top pick overall in the Season 46 draft, has been ruled out of the Philippine Cup after he underwent surgery to repair a dislocated left finger.

Also missing Wednesday’s game were Gelo Alolino and Christian Balagasay.
Bautista said Alolino was nursing a strained MCL but is on target to return for the Dyip in the game against Blackwater on Sunday. Balagasay, meanwhile, has only recently recovered from an injury.
