“I hope all of our fans are happy now that Jeff has hit a three-point shot,” Cone said with a smile. “I hope there is many more to come.”

Chan, acquired in a trade with Phoenix, said Cone has given him the green light to be aggressive on offense as he becomes familiar with the triangle offense.

“Now medyo more aggressive na ako kasi nag-usap na kami ni coach Tim regarding that. Siyempre, at first, medyo parang inaalam ko pa ‘yung triangle.

Chan noted the importance of winning Game One in this short quarterfinal series that shifts to Game Two on Wednesday.

“Very important ‘yan. We are happy na we are up 1-0 but tomorrow, back to the drawing board at focus sa Game Two,” said Chan.
