Any gas left in Dyip?
The Dyip (3-6) have lost six in a row entering the contest against Macau. They are coming off a 95-85 defeat to NLEX last week. Despite its struggles, Terrafirma actually still has a chance to make it to the quarterfinals. But the Dyip need to end their losing skid in order to revive their hopes.
Goes for first back-to-back wins
Macau beat Blackwater, 123-119, last Tuesday to improve its record to 2-8, but the Black Knights are already out of contention. Nonetheless, the guest team will be out to try and snatch its first winning streak of its campaign.
Triple threat
Macau won its previous game thanks to the scoring efforts of Jenning Leung, Damian Chongqui, and Ramon Cao, and the three have to do it again against Terrafirma.

Leung and Chongqui chipped in 30 points apiece, and Cao had 29 to power the Black Knights to victory.

Tries to step closer to No. 1
NLEX battles Converge in a game where the Road Warriors try to move closer to the No. 1 seed. NLEX eked out a 92-90 win over erstwhile pacesetter Rain or Shine in its previous outing last Wednesday.
Converge's quarterfinal bid
Converge plays a very crucial game against NLEX, with the FiberXers currently in ninth-place at 4-6. The FiberXers defeated Phoenix Super LPG, 130-103, last Sunday to get back on track for a quarterfinals spot.
Smith boosts Converge's offense
Converge finally got offense from its import after Donovan Smith's entry. The replacement for Kylor Kelley had 32 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks in a rout of Phoenix. The FiberXers hope for the same story when they go up against NLEX.
Schonny faces old team
A sidelight in the game is NLEX guard Schonny Winston facing off with Converge for the first time since being traded prior to the Commissioner's Cup.

However, Winston needs to get going after struggling over the past two games, averaging only 5.5 points in 20-percent shooting - in contrast to his first eight games where he normed 18 per outing.
