Pingris, 35, suffered the injury in the final five minutes of Game One last Saturday which the Hotshots lost, 88-87.

"Yes its ACL. He's scheduled to undergo surgery this week," said Pardo.

At the most, the Magnolia official said Pingris could be out from six to eight months.

Pingris is now resting at home, according to his manager Ed Ponceja, although there is still swelling on his injured.

"Namamaga pa kasi yung tuhod niya kaya hindi pa maoperahan," he said. "But i-schedule yung operation within the week, so if ever, maaga rin siya makabalik."
