ROBERT Bolick makes his PBA debut on Wednesday when NorthPort faces Blackwater at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Bolick will be the first among the top rookies to show their wares in the pro league, hoping to replicate his success in college with San Beda at NorthPort which made him the No. 3 pick in the last PBA draft.
Former University of the Philippines standout Paul Desiderio, taken at No. 4 by NLEX and later traded to Blackwater in the Poy Erram deal, is also set to make his PBA debut in Wednesday's game.
Bolick said he got an opportunity to become closer to his new teammates after NorthPort held its team-building session in Batangas.
“Nagkakakilala na kami ng buo. Masaya ‘yung team namin. Walang senior-senior. Sarap ng feeling,” said Bolick.
Bolick said he is determined to learn from NorthPort coach Pido Jarencio in order to make an immediate impact for the Batang Pier in the coming Philippine Cup.
Day-by-day,” said the former Red Lions star.
