NORTHPORT has tapped former TNT reinforcement Mychal Ammons as its import for the 2019 PBA Governors'Cup.
Sources bared the Batang Pier management has come to terms with the 27-year-old forward, paving the way for his PBA return.
Ammons was a replacement for TNT's Mario Little in the 2016 Governors' Cup, leading the squad to the semifinals before bowing to Meralco in four games.
He averaged 14.75 points, 12.92 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in his 12 games for the KaTropa.
Ammons last played in Mexico with Zonkeys de Tijuana, where he netted 17.1 points, 8.7 boards, 2.8 assists, and 1.4 steals.
The former South Alabama Jaguar is set to arrive on September 1.
