ADRIAN Nocum apologized for unintentionally choking Calvin Abueva during a fastbreak in the Rain or Shine-Converge game, a moment that was caught by SPIN.ph lensman Mark Cristino on Friday.

The photo saw Nocum appearing to have his left hand around Abueva's neck, as the latter was trying to draw an offensive foul against the former.
Don't poke the 'Beast'
The Elasto Painters guard, of course, didn't do the choking on purpose, as he appeared to be preparing himself to break his fall while mid-air.
Nocum and Abueva later had a playful exchange on Facebook where the former apologized for what happened.

“Sorry ya, hindi sadya,” wrote the RoS youngster, addressing the FiberXers veteran as 'ya' on his Facebook page, while also sharing the photo.
Abueva, who was playing his first game for Converge, then replied by saying “awrtss" in a way of saying that he accepted Nocum's apology.
