ROOKIE Mark Omega has been advised to take a rest, but didn’t suffer any serious injuries following the bad fall he suffered in Titan Ultra’s win over Macau on Tuesday in the PBA Governors’ Cup.
Coach Rensy Bajar said tests done on the 6-foot-5 freshman all came out negative.
Omega has already been discharged from the hospital where he was immediately brought after falling back first following a rebounding collision with Kobey Lam early in the fourth quarter of the Giant Risers' 132-128 win on Tuesday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

“Negative naman yung result niya sa CT scan,” said Bajar. “Buti walang serious injury.
“Pinapahinga na lang siya ng doctor ng couple of days.”
Omega though, could be doubtful for Titan’s next game against defending champion TNT on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Montalban.
Bajar describes the rookie from University of Perpetual Help and Letran College as a hardworking player both in games and practices.
He is averaging 3.4 points and 4.0 rebounds this conference and already had six points and four rebounds when he went down with the injury.
Omega was originally picked in the second round by Rain or Shine of the Season 50 draft, but never got to play for coach Yeng Guiao after being shipped to Converge for a second-round pick in the Season 52 drat.
Omega, who will be turning 26 three weeks from now, had a brief stint at Converge as he was later traded to Titan Ultra along with Rey Suerte and King Caralipio for veteran forward Calvin Abueva.
