ANTIPOLO – NLEX snagged its third straight win, beating Titan Ultra in a blowout, 135-100, on Tuesday in the PBA 50th Season Governors’ Cup at the Ynares Center.
Jimmy Alapag continued his strong start as PBA head coach with huge performances from Schonny Winston, Robert Bolick, and DeQuan Jones to stay on top of Group A.
Winston had 30 points, nine rebounds, and six assists to lead the Road Warriors to the victory.

Robert Bolick had his best scoring output this conference with 29 points, while also chipping in seven rebounds and four assists for NLEX.
“We are getting a lot of contributions from different guys,” NLEX coach Jimmy Alapag said. “Obviously, Berto and Schonny are a big part of what we do. I think they are two of the top guards in the league.”
Jones had 22 points and six rebounds for the Road Warriors, who never trailed in the game.
Bolick set the tone in the game by scoring 12 points in the first quarter to give NLEX a 30-24 lead.
Winston had 15 points in the fourth quarter to provide the offense after Titan Ultra came to within 13 points early in the period.
Tirrell Brown debuted for Titan Ultra, scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds but the Giant Risers still lost for the third straight game.
Roi Sumang had 18 points and Joshua Munzon had 17 points for the Giant Risers.
