NLEX made it two in a row for the first time in the PBA On Tour, scoring a 95-87 win over NorthPort on Wednesday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.
The Road Warriors outscored the Batang Pier in the fourth quarter to deny Northport coach Bonnie Tan and team manager Pido Jarencio a triumphant homecoming in the Espana-based school.

Both Jarencio and Tan are products of UST.
Sean Anthony paced NLEX with 25 points and eight rebounds. He had 10 points in the final quarter as the Road Warriors finally pulled away from the hard-fighting Batang Pier.
The Road Warriors improved to 3-4.
The Batang Pier fell behind by as many as 14 points, but rallied behind a huge third quarter to retake the lead, 66-65, on three straight free throws by Paul Zamar.
The 35-year-old Zamar led NorthPort with 22 points spiked by five three pointers, nine rebounds, and six assists.
JM Calma added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Batang Pier, who fell to 3-4 with their second straight loss.
