FROM one NBA player to another.
Wayne Selden Jr. has been tapped by NLEX as the import replacement for Jonathon Simmons in the PBA Governors' Cup.
Coach Frankie Lim said Celden will be coming over anytime even if Simmons is still to play two more games with the Road Warriors as per the agreement with team management.
Simmons is set to return to his team in the Chinese Basketball Association.

"We got Wayne Selden. I think if not tomorrow (Thursday) maybe later (arrival). He'll replace Simms," said Lim in a CNN Philippines interview.
"A big shoe for him to fill in kasi nakita naman natin paano maglaro si Simms."
Like Simmons, the 28-year-old Selden is not lacking in NBA pedigree.
The shooting guard from Kansas suited up for various NBA teams such as New Orleans, Memphis, Chicago, and New York.
Selden and Simmons actually played against each other during the 2017 NBA playoffs between Memphis and San Antonio, with Simmons and the Spurs winning the series in six games.
He is coming off a stint with Manisa BB in the Turkish Basketbol Super Ligi.
Selden led Ironi Ness Ziona of Israel to the FIBA Europe Cup title and was named Final Four MVP.
He was part of Team USA that competed and won the gold in the 2015 World University Games.
