CARLO Lastimosa insisted there was no extra motivation to perform at his best against Blackwater on Wednesday night.
Playing against his former team for the first time since he was shipped to NLEX in the offseason, the Road Warriors shooting guard put up 23 points in just 24 minutes in the team's 96-85 loss.
"Wala naman (gigil)," Lastimosa said. "Sinabi lang ni coach na keep on being aggressive."
His prolific showing, however, wasn't enough to prevent his team from stopping its losing streak, now at three games, as Mac Baracael was the only other Road Warrior who scored in double figures.
"Yun lang, medyo malas yung team kaya di spread yung scoring namin," Lastimosa said. "Wala eh, ang sama din ng gising naming lahat. Malas din. Move on na lang."

Lastimosa, however, did admit frustration crept in him as he picked up a technical foul for an pointing an accusing finger to an official late in the fourth, leading to his ejection after he was called for a flagrant foul barely two minutes into the game for a landing spot violation on Ronjay Buenafe.
“May mga calls na questionable din. Natatalo kasi kaya nainis na rin ako,” Lastimosa admitted. “Di ko rin sadya yung flagrant, landing spot.”
“Syempre frustrated kami,” he added. “Tatlong talo, ang dami pang injury pero wala kaming magagawa. Nandoon na yun. We just have to keep on improving.”
