NLEX beat Rain or Shine, 101-92, on Friday at the FCL gym to stay unbeaten in its tune-up games leading up to the PBA Governors’ Cup.
Olu Ashaolu scored 30 points and Cyrus Baguio added 19 points in the win, according to a tweet by the NLEX’s social media account @ArangkadaNLEX.
Kenneth Ighalo and Raul Soyud added 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Road Warriors, who won over Phoenix Pulse in another tuneup last week.
The Elastopainters lost the tune-up match against the Road Warriors after beating Phoenix Pulse on Thursday morning.
NLEX coach Yeng Guiao and Kiefer Ravena were not present in the tune-up game owing to the Fiba Basketball World Cup.
