NLEX is playing all-Filipino against NorthPort with the Road Warriors yet to complete the documents needed for Tony Mitchell to suit up in the Commissioner's Cup.
The team made the announcement on its social media accounts but didn't elaborate.
"His documentation is not yet ready. He's here. He's practiced with us. We'll just have to wait until the next game," said coach YengGuiao on the post.
Mitchell, the Road Warriors' first-choice import, failed to make it in time for the opener of the second conference but arrived early this week, and was then tapped to replace Curtis Washington.
