With the entry of Ramirez for the 7:30 p.m. game at the Philsports Arena, the Road Warriors relegated Jhan Nermal to the unrestricted free agent with rights to salary (UFAWR2RS) list.
Ramirez is coming off a championship stint with the Pampanga Giant Lanterns in the MPBL, making him the third player of the powerhouse team to transition to the PBA after top rookie pick Justine Baltazar (Converge) and Kurt Reyson (Meralco).
Ramirez, a Filipino-Canadian who traces his roots to Lubao, Pampanga, was the No. 18 overall pick in the last draft.
He comes on board at a time the Road Warriors are on a two-game skid for an even 3-3 record
