VETERAN big man Nick Demusis is making a PBA comeback.
The 6-foot-4 forward was signed by Blackwater for the rest of Season 50 and will be part of the team’s roster for the third conference Governors’ Cup.
Demusis was officially welcomed to the Bossing organization on Monday by team manager Johnson Martinez.

The signing of Demusis came as the team let go of veteran Bradwyn Guinto and third year center Clifford Jopia. There are talks also of posssibly trading Christian David.
This marks the return to action of the Whittier College product since playing for the Zamboanga Valientes in the Dubai International Basketball Invitational Tournament, during which he was attacked by Ismael Romero during a game against Al Ahli Tripoli.
The attack prompted Demusis and Valientes to file a complaint against Romero which resulted in Romero failing to land a contract to become Meralco’s import in the Commissioner’s Cup.

Demusis last saw action in the PBA for Rain or Shine in Season 49.
He was a second-round pick at No. 18 by Phoenix during the 2022 draft.
The Fuel Masters later traded him and two future second-round draft picks to Rain or Shine in exchange for Javee Mocon.
