THE Tyler Wilkerson mystery remain unsolved, leaving more questions than answers a day after the San Miguel Beer import stormed out of the Beermen locker room following their loss to Rain or Shine in Game Two of their PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series on Tuesday.

Wilkerson was absent in practice, sparking talk that the Beermen might play with an all-Filipino lineup against the Elasto Painters in Game Three at the Philsports Arena.

SMB coach Leo Austria didn't speak a word about the development as he hurriedly left the gym following their light two-hour training session at the Green Meadows Gym.

Team manager Gee Abanilla declined to comment, but his words confirmed that there’s something wrong.

“No comment muna,” team Abanilla said. “I might get into trouble. You understand that naman.”

Usual interviewees June Mar Fajardo and Arwind Santos were also tightlipped after their light two-hour training where they reviewed some offensive plays.

“Sabi ni coach eh,” Fajardo said. “Pasensya na ah.”

Making matters worse, SMB playmaker Chris Ross is questionable as he’s nursing a quadriceps injury and didn’t practice.

“I’ll try (to play),” Ross said, limping as he headed out of the gym.
