HENRY 'Bill' Walker chose to keep his frustrations to himself after NLEX suffered a tough 95-91 overtime loss to Phoenix in the PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday night.

After complaining over some referees’ calls down the stretch, the Road Warriors import politely declined to grant an interview to waiting scribes, but still left a message.

“If you want quotes, go talk to the refs,” Walker said.

NLEX coach Boyet Fernandez likewise refused to comment about the game and the officiating after he was also livid over some calls made down the stretch.

“Wag muna (interview). Mainit ulo ko ngayon,” Fernandez admitted.

Scribes waiting outside the Road Warriors dugout actually struck out as star big man Asi Taulava, usually accommodating even after a loss, also declined to grant an interview as he looked frustrated when he was on his way out of the venue with his family, although he obliged to fans’ photo requests.
