Catch on a new platform as Viber launches Public Chats feature
Viber founder and CEO Talmon Marco introduces the Public Chants feature to the network's 18 million Filipino users.


With that, Viber founder and CEO Talmon Marco formally introduced Public Chats - a new feature that enables subscribers to follow live conversations of their favorite celebrities and personalities - to the network's over 18 million Filipino users.

The feature offers Viber users a new kind of experience, as it gives them a more personal connection with their favorite people on Viber, Marco said in a video message to Filipino users., of course, is right in the mix.

Followers of on Viber gets the rare opportunity to stay tuned to live updates from all sports events from basketball to volleyball to tennis, as well as random conversations between reporters and editors. now has close to 10,000 followers on Viber.

Other popular Public Chats accounts are's sister site (showbiz writers on the hottest scoops), Pinoy Pride (top celebrities & athletes), Boys Night Out (Radio DJs Sam YG, Toni Tony, Slick Rick), Manila Secrets (Nightlife experts Tim Yap & JM Rodriguez with their celebrity friends), Becky Nights (Divine Lee with her podcast co-hosts), Chico Delamar & Gino (Radio DJs), and Fashion Bloggers MNL (Camille Co, David Guison with their blogger friends).

Queen of all media, Kris Aquino and comedienne Pokwang, have also joined the bandwagon when they guested in the account Globe Love Vibes.
