TnT Katropa is set to miss two other players outside of Gilas Pilipinas players in its PBA Governors Cup game against Rain or Shine Sunday.

Big guard Kris Rosales and wingman Anthony Semerad won’t be suiting up in their 6:30 p.m. encounter with the Elasto Painters at the Smart Araneta Coliseum owing to separate injuries.

Rosales just underwent a knee operation and has been declared out for the rest of the season, while Semerad hurt his nose in practice following a collision with Ryan Reyes and will be out for at least a game.

The absence of the two further compounded the woes of the Katropa, who are without national team players Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, and Troy Rosario.

Lacking in personnel, the team signed free agent Rudy Lingganay to a contract for the rest of the conference.

Lingganay, 31, previously suited up for Powerade, Globalport, KIA, and NLEX. He last played for Kia/NLEX during the 2014-15 season. He has career averages of 4.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.

Castro and Pogoy are still in Beirut, Lebanon for Gilas Pilipinas’ FIBA Asia Cup campaign, while Rosario is with the other Gilas team seeing action in the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“Ang daming injured. Hospital nga ang tawag sa amin,” said team manager Virgil Villavicencio in jest just before the Katropa’s game against the Elasto Painters.

Reyes himself is coming off a severe sprained ankle injury, but has since been activated and will play his first game this conference against Rain or Shine.
