STAR coach Chito Victolero left a window open for Tony Mitchell's return as the Hotshots import in the future.

While they already replaced Mitchell with Ricardo Ratliffe, the Hotshots only put Mitchell on the injury reserve list, making the NBA veteran eligible for a return.

“I talked to Tony na if we have a chance again to get him, siguro in the future baka magkasama ulit kami,” Victolero said after the team’s 107-97 win over TNT KaTropa on Wednesday night.

Mitchell showed his professionalism as he still showed his support for the Hotshots by cheering for them from courtside of the Mall of Asia Arena court on Wednesday night.

“He’s very professional. We love Tony. And I think Tony loves us,” Victolero said. “Makikita naman yung suporta niya sa amin. Even na dumating na si Ricardo, nandyan pa rin siya.

“I don’t know kung mag-stay pa siya. Syempre, kailangan rin niya magtrabaho,” he added. “I think meron siyang pupuntahan. But, yun nga, everybody loves Tony, even our support staff. Talagang kailangan lang namin si Ricardo.”

At least a window has been left open.
