BARANGAY Ginebra coach Tim Cone said Greg Slaughter remains 'doubtful' for the team's game against GlobalPort on Sunday after returning to practice just a day earlier.

The 6-11 slotman sat out Ginebra's debut in the midseason PBA Commissioner's Cup due to a bout with measles and the Kings never got to fill the large hole in the middle in a 112-114 loss to NLEX on Friday.

Cone doesn't expect his starting center to be around for the game against GlobalPort, but kept the door slightly ajar.

"Doubtful," Cone told Spin.ph in a text message, hours before the game. "A game-time decision."

Ginebra insiders said Slaughter returned to practice on Saturday but is clearly in no shape to play in a game.
