TERRENCE Romeo’s status for Globalport remains day to day even thought medical findings showed no tear in his right calf muscle which he hurt during the Batang Pier’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup game against Blackwater on Sunday.

Team manager Bonnie Tan said the MRI done on the prolific shooting guard's foot last Wednesday showed a Grade 1 strain of the right lateral soleus muscle.

But the good news is the absence of any tear on the injured muscle, according to Tan.

“Our ortho examined his MRI and nothing serious naman. Terrence just needs to rest,” said the Globalport official.

Tan however, considers Romeo as ‘questionable’ for Globalport’s game against the streaking Alaska Aces this Saturday at the Astrodome in Pasay City.

Romeo injured his leg late in the first half of the Batang Pier’s 115-103 loss to the Elite.

Coach Pido Jarencio sat him out for the entire third period, but opted to field him in during the final four minutes of the game. He finished with 17 points.
