TERRENCE Romeo said he was humbled to be included in a stellar cast of players featured in a tribute to legendary crossover artist God Shammgod.
Bleacher Report made a video honoring the man behind the killer Shammgod crossover move on Thursday, with interviews and clips of current NBA stars like Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, among others, who continue to use the vicious ankle-breaker popularized by the former Providence College standout to astound fans and confuse defenders to this day.
The Shammgod has gained popularity not just in the NBA as the move has gone global, with basketball stars all over the world adding it to their crossover arsenal.
Among those featured in the 11-minute long video is GlobalPort guard Romeo, who was shown at the 1:57 mark cutting through the Rain or Shine defense using the current Dallas Mavericks assistant coach’s patented move.
Romeo turned to Twitter to express his gratitude to be included among some of the world’s top ballhandlers.
‘Humbling moment to be included in this clip,” wrote Romeo on his Twitter account @tbvromeo on Thursday.
