TERRENCE Romeo suffered a double whammy for throwing the ball at Bill Walker during the GlobalPort-Blackwater PBA Governors’ Cup matchup last Sunday in Antipolo.

After getting automatically ejected late in the first half and helplessly watching from the press room his team’s late comeback fall short on the way to a 118-107 loss, the Batang Pier superstar was slapped a P20,000 fine for his action on Wednesday.

Romeo leads the latest list of players and coaches who were penalized on Wednesday totaling P61,000.

The PBA meted TNT coach Nash Racela a P17,000 fine for issuing statements detrimental to the league, disrespectful gestures towards the referees, and a technical foul for entering the court in the Texters’ 104-99 win over Star also last Sunday.

Hotshots coach Chito Victolero was also slapped a P1,000 fine for entering the court in the same game, the violation that only initially meted him a warning and didn’t sit well with Racela.

Sean Anthony has to pay P15,000 for wearing a wrong set of playing shorts in the third quarter of GlobalPort’s game against Star last Friday.

Alaska star Calvin Abueva is set to be P3,400 poorer for a technical foul for using profane language, while Aces coach Alex Compton’s technical foul for continuously complaining against a referee’s call has cost him P2,000.

Lastly, San Miguel Beer forward Arwind Santos has to pay P2,600 for a technical foul due to second motion on Kia import Geron Johnson.
