TERRENCE Romeo admitted he had a tough time attacking the rim without backcourt partner Stanley Pringle in GlobalPort’s 96-88 loss to Meralco in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

“Sobrang hirap,” the Batang Pier star said after the game.

The end result had Romeo limited to just 18 points as he shot a woeful 4-of-14 clip from the field in 41 minutes as he almost singlehandedly ran the Batang Pier offense without the injured Pringle.

Romeo also credited the Bolts’ defense that made it even harder for him.

“Maganda yung depensa nila kasi medyo nag-struggle ako nung third and fourth, he admitted. “Kailangan lang mas cool ako sa game.”
