Beau Belga meted P30,000 in fines for two infractions in Ros game vs Alaska

AFTER Ronald Tubid, it’s Beau Belga’s turn to be punished.

The Rain or Shine big man was meted a total of P30,000 in fines by the Office of the Commissioner for two separate infractions he committed in the Elasto Painters’ 105-102 loss to the Alaska Aces during their PBA Commissioner’s Cup game Sunday.

Belga was fined P20,000 for the flagrant foul 2 he committed against Yutien Andrada (deliberately throwing the ball), and then another P10,000 for contacting an airborne Alaska import Corey Jefferson.

His total fines were the same amount handed to Tubid for his flagrant foul 2 he inflicted against Chris Newsome. Unlike Belga though, the San Miguel veteran was also given a two-game suspension.

Unlike Tubid, Belga escaped suspension for the twin infractions.

All corresponding fines meted go directly to the Players’ Trust Fund.
