PBA rivals turned into allies on Thursday as the press conference for the coming PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals between Rain or Shine and Alaska got a little political color.

Rain or Shine stalwarts Beau Belga, Paul Lee and Raymond Almazan and Alaska's Calvin Abueva are set to do battle in a best-of-seven championship series kicking off on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

But before they face off, the four stood united in support of presidential aspirant Rodrigo Duterte during the press conference at the PBA Cafe.

“Yan ah, Duterte kami dito,” Belga, who wears a Duterte blue-red baller during games, proudly exclaimed as he and Almazan did the Duterte fist bump during the traditional photo-op of Finals protagonists.

The two later posed with fellow Duterte supporter Abueva, who, along with teammate Dondon Hontiveros, have shown support for the Davao mayor ahead of the May 9 electins.

The same holds true for Rain or Shine, said Lee.

“Lahat kami dito (sa Rain or Shine), Duterte,” Lee bared.
