Rob Dozier makes long-delayed Alaska debut, replaces edwards for NLEX game

ROB Dozier finally made his debut for Alaska in this PBA Commissioner’s Cup in its last game in the elimination round on Friday against NLEX.

The former Best Import had been sidelined since the start of the midseason tournament due to a plantar fasciitis injury, but had started to practice for a few weeks now.

The 6-foot-9 Dozier, who led Alaska to its last championship in the 2013 Commissioner's Cup, looked good as he made his first two shots - both from the midrange.

Shane Edwards had filled in for Dozier, who suited up in the Aces’ opener against Blackwater in early February, but didn’t see action.
