NO summon has yet been sent out to all parties involved in the endgame commotion that marred the Talk ‘N Text-Alaska PBA Commissioner’s Cup game on Sunday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

A check with the league office until the end of office hours on Monday showed no official memo has been furnished to both teams less than 24 hours since the incident happened.

Commissioner Chito Salud, media bureau chief Willie Marcial and several league personnel were in Samar on Monday for an outreach program, although Marcial did confirm that no summon has yet been made.

“Wala,” was Marcial’s short text message to Spin.ph when asked about the matter.

At least three central figures were involved in the fracas between Talk ‘N Text import Ivan Johnson and Alaska forward Calvin Abueva, who got entangled in several physical plays and later figured in taunting and thrash talking during the second half of the game which the Tropang Texters won, 101-93.

Coach Alex Compton later also got embroiled in a shouting match with the 6-foot-8 Johnson just as both teams were already leaving the court on the way to the dugout.

“I don’t recall being like that,” said Compton shaking his head as he apologized for his action which caught him furiously confronting the former NBA veteran on national television as cooler heads tried to separate the two of them.

The two later embraced in the hallway of the players’ entrance when Compton approached Johnson to apologize.

“Hey man, I’m sorry. I lost it,” said the Alaska coach to which Johnson replied, “I apologize on my end.”

MVP Sports media liason Virgil Villavicencio said the Tropang Texters took the day off on Monday, but confirmed no summon letter has been received by the team.

But he said if ever there will be a summon, it could be on the technical foul called on Johnson following a second motion against Abueva.
