NLEX has found its import for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup in former NBA player Arnett Moultrie.

Moultrie, a big man listed at 6-foot-10, is the 2012 NBA Draft’s 27th overall pick who played two seasons for Philadelphia before becoming a journeyman.

The Road Warriors, leading 1-0 in their best-of-three PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal series against Alaska, confirmed the development on Tuesday through their Twitter account, @ArangkadaNLEX, saying Moultrie will arrive next month.

“(He’s) athletic, plays inside and out,” NLEX coach Yeng Guiao said. “At 27 years old, he’s not too young, nor too old, but at the peak of his abilities. He will blend easily into our team.”

Moultrie, who played for the US national team in the youth level, winning gold at the 2009 U-19 World Championship in New Zealand, last played in the Iranian Super League.
