WHEN it rains, it pours.

Such is the case for rising star Kevin Alas, whose stellar play with NLEX in the ongoing PBA Governors Cup netted him a well deserved contract extension with the team.

The combo guard out of Letran was re-signed by the Road Warriors to a three-year deal on a rainy Monday night.

Terms of the deal, however, were not made available.

Alas, who's being managed by Virtual Playground, signed the new contract in the presence of NLEX coach and basketball manager operations Yeng Guiao, team executive Ronald Dulatre, and agent Charlie Dy.
