DONTE Greene got a rude treatment from Ginebra fans in a 107-89 loss to the Gin Kings on Sunday, but he insisted it didn't affect him in any way.

Booed whenever he held the ball by a predominantly Ginebra crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Greene was held to 11 points in the last three quarters after scoring 17 in the first frame.

But he insisted the boo boys had nothing to do with it.

"No (I was not affected by the boos).  C'mon, I played in the NBA. I've heard worse than that," said Greene, who played four seasons for the Sacramento Kings.

"We traveled to arenas where people booed you the whole time. Fans don't affect you, it energizes you."

The former Syracause standout insisted he and the Tropang Texters simply missed shots they used to make when they allowed Ginebra to pull away for good in the second half.

"We just came out a little flat in the second half, missed shots we normally make. Games go like that," he said. "For me, I'm still trying to find my touch."

Still, the 29-year-old remained confident the Texters can turn it back on with four games in their elimination-round schedule.

"We have four winnable games left; we get a chance to get a rest, get in the gym and work on some things," said Greene.
