AVOIDING further penalties, coach Nash Racela refused to provide details about the halftime commotion with San Miguel official Alfrancis Chua but stressed he did not start the argument.

TNT coach Racela and Ginebra governor Alfrancis Chua traded barbs at the hallway of the Araneta Coliseum while players were retreating to their respective dugouts at halftime.

It appeared to be a continuation of their verbal altercation in the second quarter.

They were separated by cooler heads including Ginebra coach Tim Cone, who pulled Chua back to the Gin Kings dugout.

SPIN.ph tried to get the side of Chua, but the SMC sports director left the venue early after the match.

Game Four is on Sunday, with the Texters looking to extend the best-of-five series.
