TALK ’N Text rookie wingman Matt Ganuelas-Rosser said the shoving incident he had with Rain or Shine defensive ace Jireh Ibanes in the fourth quarter of Game Four only meant both teams won’t back down in the PBA Finals.

Ganuelas-Rosser got dragged by Ibanes into the endline as both players were trying to box each other out, triggering a bench-clearing incident that later led to the ejection of the two players.

Ibanes held on to Ganuelas-Rosser’s jersey but the Fil-Am rookie was seen on TV replays shoving the pesky Rain or Shine guard over the metal railing. The ball was later thrown in his face by JR Quinahan.

“Me and Jireh, we’re just two competitors playing hard. But ultimately, it’s up to the refs, we leave it to their hands,” Ganuelas-Rosser said, moments after Talk ‘N Text gutted out a 99-92 win to level the Commissioner's Cup title series at two wins apiece.

“Getting the ball thrown, that’s not part of basketball. But what Jireh did was part of basketball,” he said. tried to get the side of Ibanes, but the reed-thin Rain or Shine veteran left the Big Dome in haste.
