MARC Pingris vowed to get back at June Mar Fajardo at another game - online this time - after Star lost to San Miguel Beer, 100-89, in the PBA Governors’  Cup on Sunday night.

The best buddies and Gilas teammates engaged in several physical plays that resulted in Pingris accidentally getting hit in the face

Fajardo and the Beermen went on to deal Pingris and the Hotshots their third straight defeat.

“Nung natamaan niya ako, nag-sorry siya,” Pingris said. “Hindi lang namin pinapakita talaga sa loob ng court yung pagkakaibigan namin.”

“Hindi niya kasi pababayaan yung San Miguel at hindi ko rin pababayaan yung Purefoods, so laro lang.”

“Pero pagkatapos nito magdo-DOTA na kami,” Pingris added, referring to the online craze, Defense of the Ancients.

The Hotshots star forward said he will connect with Fajardo once they get to their respective homes.

“Iki-kill ko ‘yan mamaya.”

Fajardo said that won’t happen.

“Kakampi naman kami eh,” the gentle giant smiled.

Pingris said it was his way to lighten up the mood after seeing a lackluster Hotshots side fall to a tie with Blackwater, NLEX, and Rain or Shine at the bottom of the standings.

“Nawawala na yung sigla sa laro,” Pingris said. “Mahirap kasing mag-isip-isip ngayon eh. hindi mo alam kung san nanggagaling yung mga talo namin.”
